Is my older pet slowing down because of age?
Stiffness, reduced activity, appetite changes, weight loss or increased thirst deserve a veterinary exam. They should not simply be assumed to be normal aging. Our senior package includes a physical exam, a senior laboratory panel and X-rays as listed below; your veterinarian will explain what the findings mean and whether additional care is needed.
What care does a new puppy need?

Senior Pet Care…
is sometimes very costly! However, a minimum recommendation of at least one physical exam (even for a seemingly healthy pet), per year is preferred to keep your senior pet aging gracefully. Doing what we call preventative care helps your veterinarian catch age related issues early and helps you get ahead of your pet’s changing needs as they age.

Puppy Packages are prepaid, quantities are adjusted based on the pet's age and weight at the time of purchase.
All future appointments for the puppy package services are scheduled at the time of purchase by NVVC staff.
*Spay or Neutering is only available for pets for pets 4+ months of age. If over 30lb then additional costs will be charged at the day of the procedure. This does not include costs for medications, if needed to go home with the pet.
**Deworming is recommended by our vets during each set of vaccines, most puppies receive between 3 - 4 sets when starting vaccines at 6 to 8 weeks of age.
***The number of vaccines your puppy needs is dependent upon on the age they start their vaccines, staff will help determine how many for your pet.
