We care about your pets dental health

Bad breath, tartar or a change in chewing can be a reason to schedule a dental exam. North Valley Veterinary Center offers dental care for dogs and cats in Lancaster and the Antelope Valley, including dental cleaning and polishing, dental radiographs, oral surgery and tooth extraction when recommended.

Does bad breath mean my pet needs a dental exam?

Persistent bad breath can be a sign of dental disease. Red gums, drooling, dropping food or reluctance to chew also deserve an exam. Pets may continue eating despite oral pain, so eating normally does not rule out a problem.

How much will my pet’s dental treatment cost?

We examine your pet’s mouth and discuss an estimate based on the care needed. Ask about cleaning, dental X-rays and any recommended extractions so you understand the plan before treatment.

Can brushing replace a professional cleaning?

Home dental care supports oral health, but it does not replace an exam or treatment for existing disease. We can help you choose suitable oral-care products and a home-care routine.
